Growing up within the environment of a family-run landscape business, Gillian Temple learned much of her plant knowledge as a child. She studied landscape architecture and then worked with her father, Paul Temple, for many years, becoming experienced in all aspects of exterior and interior landscape design, construction and maintenance on both domestic and commercial projects.
In 1990 she decided to concentrate solely on landscape design and consultancy. Her background ensures that her designs are imaginative yet also practical to build and maintain.
She designs private gardens, public parks and commercial landscapes and also restores historic gardens.
Gillian has designed and managed several exhibition gardens at Chelsea Flower Show and has been awarded RHS Gold and Silver-gilt medals.
With offices in Kent and Sussex, the majority of her work is in the south-east but she also works further afield in the UK and internationally.
She is a Registered Member of the Society of Garden Designers and a Member of the Institute of Horticulture.
